This module is here to present coherent, practical advice and training on dealing with the common mishaps that are bound to occur in sea kayaking as well as advice on the less likely, but more threatening, situations that paddlers should be prepared for.

- Preparation and Prevention and Safety gear
- Bracing Basics, techniques and practice
- Self and assisted re-entries, techniques and practice
- Rescues for Special Circumstances- tired paddlers, incapacitated paddlers, surf and rough water recovery
Duration
After a brief safety introduction, we paddle to a calm protected area. Depending on the group size, duration is approximately one hour.
Group Size
Groups are limited to a maximum of 6 per instructor to ensure proper attention to all paddlers.
